Ibis Melaka Hotel - Malacca

Enjoyed our new-fashioned and fashionable rooms in this hotel.

The restaurant here was great for breakfast, we both ordered delicious dishes. And our bathroom was clean. Besides, the location was good for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of an eye-catching cherry-pink church.

Asked for family room and it was nicely furnished with carpet.

truly enjoyed my very nice stay at malacca town. the location of the hotel was good and the best - just a short stroll away from a 16th century portuguese fort. it was located in a tourist area just next door to sightseeing, stadhuys museum and nearby halal food.

Huge unit with a minimalist decor, welcoming staff on the request. Ample parking and well-stocked and large breakfast at all foods. Magnificent location in the restaurant which is boring. Very close to the jam at the front of the street and the main Tourist Street and the red square.

Breakfast disappointing.

The housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating.

The shower had mold, and there was hair on the floor.

Loved the cozy lounge area! It felt cute and perfect. One downside was the limited breakfast options 😊

Check-in felt drawn out, with a long wait at the counter that seemed unnecessary as I was the only one there. The room lacked some basic amenities. One of the towels was used, and it took a couple of calls to housekeeping to get everything sorted, which detracted from the experience. Breakfast was chaotic, with other guests piling their plates high, leaving little for anyone else. Checkout had its own delays, prompting a rush to leave my concerns unaddressed.

The swimming pool was awesome for kids, and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. Loved the comfy bed and the cozy lounge area. A great time and we felt very welcome.

The location is conveniently close to Jonker Street. I found the staff polite and accommodating, which helped facilitate an early check-in when my room was ready.

The location is a true highlight, just a 10-minute walk from the main attractions and surrounded by a vibrant nightlife. The staff were very friendly. While the room was simple and clean, it lacked some essentials that required a call to housekeeping. The breakfast spread was good, but having to request basic items like toothbrushes felt unnecessary.

We explored The Shore Oceanarium nearby, a hit with the kids, especially the interactive exhibits. The hotel's location was also unbeatable.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel should improve their room allocation process for families with children.

We had a lovely stay with super clean rooms and a cozy vibe. The outdoor pool and karaoke nights were great fun for the family. Just a heads up, the room service took a little longer than expected, but it didn't spoil our time 😊

Had a great time at this hotel! The breakfast spread was amazing, especially the dim sum and eggs. The pool was fantastic for my kids, and the mini-fridge in the room was super handy.

Recommend it for groups seeking comfort

I was really impressed with the location just a 5-minute walk to all the historical sites, it made exploring super easy. The staff at the front desk were so helpful they even installed the Grab app for us, which saved us a ton of hassle.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was acceptable for what we got.
